The Nursing College strives to be an Equitable, Effective and Interactive Learning community that makes a difference to education and human development through excellence in teaching, and service to the humanity. College has an excellent, efficient and highly motivated faculty who plan meticulously all the curricular and co-curricular activities for the students. Team collegiality and cooperation is our strength to undertake many of our missions.

The General Nursing Programme began in the year 1997.To uplift the status and standard of nursing profession as recommended by the Indian Nursing Council we started the B.Sc nursing program in 2011.
St. Joseph College of Nursing has been serving as the back bone of St. Joseph Hospital. The nursing students excel in their carrier by various out reaching programmes, conducting health education programmes in rural and urban areas, participating in medical camps with collaboration of Medical team of St. Joseph Hospital and District Hospital Hoshagabad.

GNM NURSING- THREE YEAR COURSE

Considering the increased number of poor patients and the need of skilled dedicated nurses, Franciscan Clarist Sisters of Amala Province started the General Nursing and Midwifery Nursing course on 8th September 1997 under the society of St. Joseph’s Hospital Hoshangabad, in the Diocese of Bhopal.

St. Joseph’s School of Nursing is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi (Reg. No: 18-23/2001-INC) as well as the Madhya Pradesh Nurse’s Registration Council, Bhopal, approved by Department of Medical Education, Govt. of M. P.

St. Joseph School of Nursing is in its silver Jubilee Year. From this esteemed institution 23 batches of students have been passed out and are engaged in healing ministry in different parts of the world.
